Visual storyteller from Egypt. In 2012 he was introduced to photography while studying for a bachelor in petroleum engineering. After graduation in 2015 he started working as a freelance photographer and videographer with different brands and organizations like the embassy of Qatar in Hanoi, Vietnam in focus, Stelp and students with psychosis. His work has been published in different magazines like SBS and Saigoneer as well as being exhibited in different places like the Museum of Women in Hanoi, the library of Alexandria, the museum of fine art in Cairo, and the French institute in Alexandria.
Driven by an interest in psychology and anthropology he uses camera based mediums to tell stories. In recent years he focuses on social documentary projects discussing the social dynamic, identity and the cultural change in the Egyptian society.
Some of his projects include Cham pa muslims; a documentation of the Cham pa ethnic minority in southern Vietnam, Life is a hitch which documents the daily life and struggles of the workers in the Egyptian oil field and More than a race which documents the bedouin culture and habits in Sinai Peninsula.
